Important Info

Coach Access to Field Locks
Send your access request to [email protected].  Access is available to approved PCLL managers and coaches only.

Always lock the lock to the gate immediately after opening to prevent loss or theft.
If players might tamper with locks, secure the locks higher on the fence, out of reach.
Always lock the field after use, even if another event is scheduled later in the day.
- If a lock goes missing and you were the last user, the league may request reimbursement to replace it.
- Access automatically terminates at the end of each season.
- Those requesting access must have passed all background checks and other requirements as determined by PCLL and/or the City of Tampa.

Hitting Facility Reservations
View the schedule and then request available time by emailing [email protected]

- Reservation requests MUST INCLUDEDate, Time, Team, Division, and the number of lanes requested.
- As the facility is very busy, we may only offer a single lane during peak hours.
- Non-player children should NOT be in the Hitting Facility.  Parents must watch their children.
- Time slots are available a couple of weeks in advance. See the schedule for availability.
- Times or cage assignments may be modified at any time with little or no notice.
- During Spring, we are only able to offer 1 hour time slots, generally limited to 1 slot per week.
- Additional time slots may be requested the same day, after 1pm ET.
- Teams and individuals may use the Hitting Facility without a reservation, but the schedule always prevails.

Lightning Policy and Procedures
Please visit our Lightning Safety and Policies page. Our lighting prediction system is the primary tool that we utilize to make a decision to delay or postpone events at PCLL. This tool is to be used in conjunction with other reliable information and common sense. If the situation seems unsafe, but the warning bells / lights are not sounding, participants should still seek safety.  Safety is generally found inside of buildings or inside of cars. The Hitting Facility, dugouts, or under the awning of the Clubhouse are not lighting safe locations.

Additional Resources for Coaches:

While these training plans have been provided for your reference, they are not mandatory and have not been approved by a physician or the PCLL Board of Directors.  Coaches or individuals performing player clinics or evaluations should adapt their training to the physical capabilities of the participants with the heath and safety of all involved the number one priority.

Playing sports is an inherently dangerous activity.  Evaluation by a medical professional is recommended before beginning any fitness program.  Proper equipment, including, but not limited to, appropriate footwear, clothing, headgear, chest protection, eye protection, and mouthguards should be worn at all times to minimize the risk of injury.  In Florida’s climate, hydration is necessary to avoid heatstroke or serious injury.  Participants and coaches should have water available at all times and take regular breaks for shade and hydration.  It is imperative to closely monitor the weather, including any available lightning detection system, to protect everyone involved.  Adult supervision is required during any organized activity.  This includes physically inspecting any playing surface for defects or danger.  First aid kits, a cellular phone, and a defibrillator can save lives.  Coaches should know the locations of these items and be prepared to rely on their training to use them.
